In mid 2016, SNAYMAAN and other hip hop recording artists, Mistro Gramen, Jimmy God-Soul and more other artists including their mentor and manager Mbuso Mogale (Bozza)came to form a group know as The Plug.
SNAYMAAN began his music career at an early age of 13 in 2007. During that year, the led was signed under Amazon Records owened by Calvin McDonald aka Anaconda. Under the label, SNAYMAAN worked with the likes of Mickey M, MT, Mendyman and many more other artists linked to the label. He recorded and released his 1st hit single on the streets tittled “IMALI” that saw him some hood fame well deserved. However, a year later he resigned from the record label to becoming an indie artist. In 2014, SNAYMAAN left his hometown to go study and live in Johannesburg City. He built up his fan base through performing in the city and posting the videos on Youtube. Through Youtube is how he was discovered by his former manager Peter Maruping aka Lavista who then introduced him to IGT Records.
Working with the label, SNAYMAAN became part of a group called Mahipi with Tloks Lepara, Letlapah, and owner of the label Prick Sta. It was then the artist began releasing singles with the group on the internet. Some of the released singles with the group include, “Lean On Me”, “Tsola” and “Akere Akere”. But that was not all, the led was able to release his own single titled “Bussin” ft Prick Sta and went on to earn himself an appearance on television Tlocks Lepara’s music video and song titled “Chesa Mpama Remake” ft the late Senyaka. The music video was debuted on Live Amp and aired on other various channels including Channel O. On his last days working with IGT music, he had the opportunity to work with IGT’s very own Hasty South and Mandla Hlatshwayo (Third season winner of Big Brother Mzansi) After spending a year living in the big city, the “city of gold” and the city of dreams, unfortunately having to end his dream of obtaining a law degree, he then decided to take a journey back to his hometown to team up with Mistro Gramen (Lil Grammy) who is now his executive producer, Jimmy Tonic God-Soul (Trap Jim/Fall of Man), Barry Taurus (Daddy/Papa/Baba), Kamo Waves (The Ladies Man) and mentor/manager/The Plug Records CEO Mbuso Mogale (Bozza). But more and more artists are yet to be discovered and unleashed under The Plug Records and together they are The Future!
